Hey guys,

i'm using GDS for car diagnosis on my 2013 Ceed SW. I still have 4 years warranty on my car but its my hobby to check error codes, know whats happening with my car etc..

This year i bought a VCI Clone and installed GDS and managed to get a dealer certification to update GDS and updated the VCI to firmware 2.24

I really want to know which software the dealer is using to update Navigation Firmware and Maps and is it possible to update the navigation system on my own (my navi is w/o SD-Card for maps).

I already had client who killed start-stop on the first day and pickuped car to dealer.

And you can't update navigation by your own due to needed files are located on dealer site.

Do you know what the name of the Software is? The warranty of the Navi is only 3-years and its over . it would be nice to have a little diagnostic on it if its defective.

You can not update your nav with GDS. You need to be kia dealer,then you get a USB with nav update,last update is like 7GB maps,and 3-4GB software.

You need sdcard usb adapter and sdcard with soft and maps, it take ~2hours to update
