Hello, I have a normal NBT here, HW 31, fully loaded, EURO version with DAB
Can this be flashed to Chinese so all menus are in Chinese?
If so how, do the normal pszdata contain Chinese firmware or is it separate?

Changing the kombi language is the first step.

I think it is same thing of CIC.
You can't put the Chinese language version in European Hardware,
They are deliberately different, example if you buy CIC from chinese version BMW,
you will have chinese language, but you can't load europe map

There has 2 ways:
1.No need install NBT decoder at the H/L Can.(I do not know how to do)
2.To install NBT decoder at H/L Can, then change VO, FA.......

NBT is not like CIC . There is DAB version and non DAB version . World wide . Different is in the FSC .

DAB present or not present not changhes nothing, CIC OR NBT, isn't possible add chinese language in ECE Hardware, try adding by FDL code Chinese Language
It will not be in the setup menu

Many Chinese shops buy NBT in very large quantities from Europe and get them flashed to Chinese. So yeah 100% possible.
Mine is getting done this week by someone who knows how to do it.

If i can convert japanese NBT and CIC to ECE , then its 100% possible. And i doubt its rocket science but I can't really suggest any technical procedure without having a sample HU
