Very strange problem with E70 X5 2010 after programming.
Hello CT Community
Now from the beginning. Car had ilevel E070-10-12-503 so client wanted to update car. Update was successful without any errors by ISTA/P with ilevel E070-16-07-505. But after programming i turned on Rheingold and started Diagnostic process. And i was very suprised when i saw that on Control Unit Tree there was SVT Control Unit turned into RED. I was trying to find what is wrong. Calculated test plan but it couldn't find solution for this problem. I was trying to find SVT Controller in the car. It should be behind CAS but there is an empty place for it. Before programming car didn't had this problem! and as far as i know there wasn't SVT controller on Control Unit Tree. Maybe i'm wrong... becouse i do not remember it. I just remember there was no red ECUs on the list. I was trying to find Fuse for SVT controller and i found that this is Fuse F20, when i opened JunctionBox there was NO FUSE in this place. Placeing new fuse into F20 place did not solve the problem. Did you use K+Dcan or icom with ista+?

I think you need disconect (-) battery about 1 hour. After reconnect battery and reprograming. I hope you can fix it follow guide. Thuan |

I had some problem with DSC on a X6 e71, after i delete errors, the DSC control unit turns RED and stoped working, a friend from bmw tell me to take care with ICOM clones with newer versions of ISTA + and P.
I realy recomend to not update with ISTA P only if is really necessary, Just on control unit change. Iwe programed totaly 12 Bmw differnt models, half i sent to BMW reprogram. ONLINE is a must sometimes, some ecu bin are corected and keped on BMW servers, we dont have acces to them. Your SVT ecu is dead, on false codind or programing it turns BLUE color. Or was dissambled. No svt. Make a test plan to SVT and look for wiring diagrams, check power +12 or ground to that module. Check FUSES. |

Problem svt vin number and immo. try to adaptation on car. maybe if u have abrites avdi fix it your problem.

Some time some ecu of bmw x5 become red after reprogramming,its not dead, dont try to reprograme again with ista p and your hardware, just use right tool to encoding and delete error .i use autoland ISCAN WT

Guys!!! You are talking about totally different things. He don't have SVT in car but show up in ISTA-D

Why he have now VO with 217 Active steering if car don't have it ?
fuse at juntion box should be F24. |
