E60 ULF module high replacement.
Hi friends, My friend has just replaced his broken ULF module(water damaged) with used one from ebay on his 2010 E60.Part no. of used ULF is 84109229740
He just swapped the module and without any programing/coding everything works except bluetooth audio streaming.

So does the new module needs any programing(VIN change) or coding?

Car has following options:
S620 Voice control
S653 High Definition Radio
S655 Satellite tuner
S6AA BMW TeleServices
S6AB Control for Teleservices
S6FL USB/Audio interface
S6UH Traffic Information
Could anybody suggest what needs to be done to have bluetooth streaming again.I have ICOM,ISTA-D,ISTA-P,NCSExpert.Thanks

Anytime "USED or NEW" module is been introduced to a car it's a BEST practice to program and code it

If any of my posts or current one helps then don't forget to press thanks and add a reputation thankyou

ZB 9229740 is the latest firmware for that ULF2HI and it was qualified for the NB93.

NB93 was produced from 9/05-12/09. I'm fairly certain that Combox (6VC) wasn't introduced until 3/10 and is required for bluetooth streaming.

RE: E60 ULF module high replacement.
Combox was never implemented in the e60. And in the other models it was ntroduced in 09/10

Thanks guys for looking into!! Then it means that there is no combox in that car, therefore he can't do Bluetooth streaming.

So its not coding or programming related.
