EVO ID5 Reset while Navigation running ??
Hello,
i have upgraded an evo id4 to id5. It is hardware revision 2.3 with only 2gb of Ram. These unit reboots randomely while naviagtion is running. Suddenly the whole system is very slow and in the end the unit itself reboots and starts new. As i have read id5 needs 4gb of ram, which the most fxx evo units don´t have. I think this is a very important theme, when you plan to upgrade evo id4 to id5. I think it is possible to avoid these issue by disabling ram hungry applications during navigation process Feel free to tell us your experiences and perhaps solutions for avoiding these resetting isues due to the lack of ram. regards |

RE: EVO ID5 Reset while Navigation running ??
Can you provide what exact codings have to be done and with what pszdata have the unit be flashed (btld and swfl version)
I have flashed it with pszdata 60.0 and created tal with btld 005 and swfl 005. So flashing it to Bootloader and Software Version 5 is no Solution for this Reboot Issue !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this what you mean by flashing it exactly ???? I coded it for using with enbt emulator in e90. gatewaytable 5 and so on. Vo coded it with bmw apps and apple carplay. Everything else is left in standart position. (21-12-2016, 21:17 PM)jeroenbmw Wrote: Id 5 Run good on 2.3 HW, only coding and flash needs be exact good. |
