LM2 e61 coding help
Hey guys,
I'm on the brink of tearing my hair out, so reaching out here for some help. I have an E61 '05 model, with an LM2 installed and i've been having fun with coding a bunch of things on it like DRLs and Welcome lights etc, but I'm struggling to do one particular thing, and I can't seem to find any good info out there for it: I'm trying to get DRLs to be the Angel Eyes together with the "eyebrows" strip and the 4 little orange LEDs when in Auto mode. I've read in some places people saying it is not possible without wiring changes (on pre-LCI models) but surly it must be possible with coding as I get the exact configuration of lights i'd like to have but only when the switch is set to "parking lights" mode (position 1). Only problem with that is that I lose my automatic lights, and I want to keep them (also in parking lights mode, it will not turn off the lights when the car is shut off and key is removed). Currently, in Auto mode, i have managed to get as far as having the angel eyes on (and nothing else), or having the sidemarkers also permanently on (indicators) but without the eyebrows. Wondering if I maybe need to look at coding something in the light switch module itself instead off the LM2? Reference image of what i'm after just in case: http://smg.photobucket.com/user/snyc3/me...5.jpg.html If anyone has any ideas, i'd love to hear them. Cheers! |

I grabbed his LM trace file yesterday and am busy looking at the differences. I will try to flash with as many of his values as makes sense and see what happens. |
