RE: BMW F10 - initializing used TMS module in HEADLIGHT
Still an instruction for this needed, also from me.
So, I need to install used TMS for 2010 F10 adaptive xenons. How to "reset" used module in headlight?
What exactly should I put in Tool32?

RE: BMW F10 - initializing used TMS module in HEADLIGHT
Have you tried using E-sys first: Detect CAF for ECU, then VO Code the module (writes car VIN to used TMS)
After that: use ISTA+ to initialise
Please report back smile

Hi on F10 2010 model TMS modules are not listed in ESYS for coding they are controlled by FRM, i this case if you code in same way FRM there is no success ista d complains again about used tms and asks new ones ordered from bmw (this is reality tested on F10 and F07).

regards.

Exactly and still waiting the answer: what to put in Tool32 as ID for TMS modules?

Edit: We are still in discussion about Bi-Xenon headlight mosules, NOT LED modules, whose are totally different story.

RE: BMW F10 - initializing used TMS module in HEADLIGHT
For tms3_l or _r in tool32 try this:
jobs:           steuern_routine
Argument:   ARG;LED_EINLERNVORGANG;STR    than,
Argument:   ARG;LED_EINLERNVORGANG;STPR    than,
Argument:   ARG;LED_EINLERNVORGANG;RRR

instead of argument use ID
ID;0xA536;STR
ID;0xA536;STPR
ID;0xA536;RRR

RE: BMW F10 - initializing used TMS module in HEADLIGHT
So once again:
I chose steuern_routine
But what I axcatly put as an argument.
tred those You mentioned, but Tool refuses those: wrong argument at least for EINLERNWO...

I hope nobody would not anymore put any stupid esys instructions here. This is completely different story!

EDIT: Ok, maybe I found the error. I try this with E90 FRM3 (it is currently in my bench). Probable it does not know any led things at all...

RE: BMW F10 - initializing used TMS module in HEADLIGHT
I am trying to use e-says and need your help. Can you help me please ?
I have changed module ( module was water damaged and angle eye stoped working )on my left headlight and now adaptive light error showing on dash.
Module is replaced now. I have no idea how to write vn in module ? I got software and cable. Please advice.

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Left-Click on TMS => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD from latest I-Level shown (bottom) => Select OK => Right-Click on TMS (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE.
