I got an error when installing ETK, when ETK asks for dealer code, instalatorów changes language to german Andrzej at the end got error that im Tomcat folder is no version.txt file. Any ideas? When starting ETK shows error with Java (jdk installed)

I haven't seen that functionality in ETK. Moreover I haven't seen any BMW tools in ETK at all. My personal impression is that BMW has "old" tool numbers like 33 5 120 and the "new" tool numbers are numbered similar to BMW part numbers.
If you search for that tool number (or name) hard in ISTA-D, you will find the "new" BMW number. In your specific case I start ISTA-D, go to workshop tab then text search, enter "335120" (without spaces) and check the box to search in document text. It finds two documents, one of which (named "Device") tells you that 33 5 120 was replaced by 83 30 0 495 851. I can't find this number in ETK, but local dealer online shop accepts it and says its a "Tool"

This may be a very basic question, but can ETK do BMW tool look ups?

For example, in ISTAD if you're given Tool #33 5 120 can ETK translate that into a BMW part # that you could look up on a parts website?

I've done the same as the post above me but also just give whatever number i find to my BMW part rep where I have my wholesaler account and he figures it out.
