Have you formatted your card in FAT format?
Have you copied / extracted files using Windows?
Have you tried a different card?

SD card format = FAT 32
YES Windows 7
No - I try only with the same SD card - 8 GB class 10.

OK SOLVED!
I have used a 2Gb SD in FAT format NOT FAT32
Inserted and after 2 seconds, the screen appears and all was done.

Are you sure its SD card foult? I am missig also Audi connect - it is inactive. Could it be also same SD card bad update problem?

Hi mates , i have a7 2014 usa model but i live in bulgaria , what about if i install EU firmware , is it a problem ? i have only usa navi maps .

First U must edit navi eeprom using vagcanpro to change languages to match eu firmware ones. Do it before update or You will loose all text on mmi

You have to do a region change (search it in the forum)
