I have so far kept away from Mercedes key programming because I regard that off my limit. After a year and half now of being in this forum I have learned a lot and still Learning.
I now intend to go into Benz key programming and my targeted models are mainly w203, w211, w164 and those within 2001-2007 model year range. Tools intending to buy are all going to be clone for now.

I am going to hopefully describe the procedure taking w203 as example please correct me where I am wrong.
1 remove EIS from car and use R270 to read dump
2 post dump here for assistance to calculate keys
3 write back one of the calculated keys to the EIS
4 unsolder NEC chip from key and program it with the same key number written to the EIS and then solder back onto key
5 test key on car
Now one thing not clear to me is where do I use the IR programmer.
Please correct me where I am wrong. Thanks
