What is the best voltage and amperage for E, F and G series?
As Twointje say why to invest over 800 Euros for something what you need once or twice a year?!
Reading the thread I have decide to buy MAAS 50 II 55 Amper and think that will be enough for coding and programming because now my CTEK MXS 25 is good for E Series.

2 years i using mst-80 from china, i paid 307euros, max output i saw was 87a, in dead battery, negative side of charger that it is only 14v, sometimes on dead battery you have 13,6v on car.

I use a MAAS 50 II - primitive, but cheap. With my (almost fully loaded) F series I think it was consuming about 20-30A on average, so quite sufficient.

Thats strange my F10 consumes between 20 and 30 Amp just with the ignition on  and then i am still not coding or flashing.

PsevDo . How is this possible after riding 400km higway my battery most be full , bot now id it different first i charged my battery til the charger stated the battery was full then i messured the same amps with just the ignition on without AC on or the lights on the car consumes between 20 and 30 AMP when i put my lights on and the AC on manual full power the AMP rises till 60 or 70 AMP. So i wasnt feeling safe with my Telwin Doctor Charge 50 that is a charger for all kind of batterys but also delivers power in Diagnostics mode and supply mode but just up til 40AMp . So i returned this device and got myself his bigg brother the Doctor Charger 130 it is the same device in charging all kind of battery even Lithium battery but in Diagnostic and Supply mode it can delivere up till 120 AMP.

So dont now how your F10 only consumes 20 to 30 AMP while flashing.

Best regards.

RE: Power supply for coding/programming
The amount of amps that will be consumpted depends on the amount of build in ecus. Mine is having 44 ECUs and is at the same amount of amps just with ignition on like yours @Twointje.
