RE: Ultimate Ediabas/ISTA+ voltage control V3
V3 version is the same, however until I have time to create a universal solution for IstaOperation.exe, I have to build my fake one for each specific version. Original one changes a bit too, so I may as well wait until it stabilizes a bit. Its new exe which first appeared in 4.05. So I just added a new one for last version.

Its easier to support automatic ignition sense over ediabas that way (for interfaces which do support that). You can use enet connection over ediabas as well. |

RE: Ultimate Ediabas/ISTA+ voltage control V3
I can't find can32.dll in V3 or V2. There is the obd32.dll, but no dll for other cables. Am I missing something here?
1. If you are using STD:OBD rename existing obd32.dll to obd32.ebas.dll. Users of other cable types rename respective dll (for example STD:CAN users rename can32.dll to can32.ebas.dll). |

RE: Ultimate Ediabas/ISTA+ voltage control V3
Depends on the interface type in ediabas.ini. Most CAN cables still use STD:OBD. But if your cable requires STD:CAN as interface, then you rename existing can32.dll to can32.ebas.dll and rename supplied obd32.dll to be new can32.dll. My wrapper dll is the same for all cable types.

RE: Ultimate Ediabas/ISTA+ voltage control V3
Node, just downloaded and installed your v3 kit for 4.05.31. After starting the EdiabasVoltageControl, and then starting ISTA, it locks up on "Please be patient" with the floating bar. Eventually it stops working altogether and I just close the program. Any idea what could be causing the issue?

Have you added "AllowFakeISTAOperation" to registry?

RE: Ultimate Ediabas/ISTA+ voltage control V3
Renamed existing obd32.dll to obd32.ebas.dll (inside Rheingold/Ediabas/Bin)
Put obd32.dll in Rheingold\Ediabas\Bin Copied NodeISTAVoltageControl.dll to Rheingold\Ediabas\Bin I'm running 4.05+, so I replaced existing IstaOperation.exe with included one for my version. Ran the AllowFakeISTAOperation.reg file (x64 for my system)... Prompt came up, I clicked yes to allow, and it confirmed changes were made. What did I miss? |
