Hi all,
I've been studying and learning about edc1639 maps, factors...
Stock is 185hp on this engine, pretty much the same engine as the 200HP 159/brera, same injectors etc, but has the old GT2256V turbo instead the 159's GTB2056V.
After reaching 505.000KM, turbo, injectors... all stock! Of course not tuned... The cylinder head ck sad
A month ago I fitted a 120.000km head, valves polished,all checked and resurfaced. It should work perfect for a long time!

Anyway, I've been interested in tuning since last year, I've spent few months of heavy reading and winols sessions trying to understand how maps work and how they affect each other, I finally tuned it, after few tests I ended with this:
- IQ 70->90mm3
- All driver whish +30% in 90-100%, +15% in 80%.
- Torque limiter set to 600Nm 2500-4500rpm, slighly increase in lower rpm.
- Rail pressure 1600->1776bar, Rail limiter approx. +20bar, SVL set to 1800bar. No single problem with this setting.
- All rpm/IQ/temperature limiters set to 90mm3 up to 4500rpm, within safe temperature limits.
<50ºC stock IQ, 50-100ºC 90mm3, >100ºC stock IQ. I got 90mm3 all the time when it's hot smile
- Turbo pressure +200mbar (2600mbar) for IQ 90mm3.
- Lowered a bit lambda AFR to 14.3 in all map
To increase low rpm torque before turbo spool, lowered AFR to 13.3 in 500-600mg air between 800-1125rpm and 13.8 in 1250-1500rpm.
- Removed EGR, physically and by single value switch in ecu
- Cleaned inlet manifold, removed swirl flaps
- Emptied turbo catalyst.

The car has a lot of power, makes a bit of smoke but not exaggerated, mainly a little smoke ball in turbo spool at 1500-1600rpm, and very slight smoke on full load, although from time to time it makes a not so small smoke cloud when I press the pedal, but just sometimes, I have to tune AFR better.

But it losses some power after 3500-4000rpm, has a incredible torque from 1800 to 3500rpm (I got wheelspin in wet even in 4th gear, and that's with R18/235! Goodyear F1 Assymetric 3) , after that it seems to start losing some power.
No idea if it's caused because it's stock FMIC or by some wrong setting.
Also it seems that it has a bit more power pushing the pedal at 80-85% than at 100%.
I suspect SOI need to be calibrated, but i don't know what is best, set original EOI calibrated to new injection duration? Or add/remove some degrees?
Also I read that SOI is calibrated from factory mainly to reduce emissions in conjunction with EGR, not for giving best torque/economy.
I guess I have to recalibrate SOI in mid-low IQ now that EGR is not active, but I'm not sure how much should I increase or retard it.

I just need some help with this last step, to ensure I won't break anything by high PCP or EGTs...
