Sometimes you need to lift the reset.
If someone took the time to help you, the least you can do is take a few seconds and press two buttons!
Thanks + reputation. |

RE: What do you use for Nissan Quest 04-06 cluster programming (Motorola MC9S12)?
Ok, this is what I found out.
First of all I need to power up the cluster with my power supply, since obviously it's not enough with VCC power from the programmer. Secondly I need to have "EXTAL" (pin 44) wire connected to the programmer. After that I'm able to read/write the EEPROM area of the processor. If I read the "Flash" area of the processor, it still shows all FFs. Is there anything I need to know about the reading of the Flash area? |

Just one thing.
Orange 5 on some mku needs a resistance of 10k. I'm not sure you're far away.. Search with multimetro connections from these points Or use Upa (original-clone) And attachment that you are using wrong pin out of orange5 Reset.... 5v... gnd.... bkgd... upa Rst .... vcc.... gnd....RxD..... Orange5 |

I figures out that I needed to use OSC pin on Orange 5 for Extal Pin on CPU. Eventually I sticked with GND, RxD, OSC and external power supply for the cluster. Works just fine. |

There are no problems anymore. Orange is working fine so far with adaptor and without.
