i had to test a car audi a6 2.5 tdi 2001 . the car on cold engine runs nice , only limp mode more then 2800 rmp not run, so i did diagnostic.

in engine its 3 fault codes

00542 Needle lift Sensor (G80): Open or Short to Plus
00741 Brake Pedal Monitoring
00550 Start of Injection Regulation

in abs block its 18265 Load Signal: Error Message from ECU
in automatic transsmition 17087 Brake Switch (F): Electrical Malfunction

then car get 85 c warm . its star to idle on 640 rmp. as i read fault codes its 00550 need to fix the injection timing settings. but if fault code of 00542 says that injector is faulty its need first to change it . and as i read about 00550 fault code because of it its can not work esp , and its lights in dashboard then engine is running .

first ? am i correct ^^ ore not ?

other thing is about gear box , its automatic . then u start the engine , gearbox stand in P the light (red around foot) you can not move the gear sift its lock .then u pres brake pedal is unlock the gear sift , and u go to D o R , but then u stop the car u pot in P its has to lock gear sift .and if u want to use again u pres brace petal .

am i correct ^^

but we have problem : firs time we pres the brake pedal u can move gear shift to D or R and back to P its not locking in P mode and some times if u turn off engine turn of power turn back its stay not locket .

we test brake pedal sensor above brake pedal its working , we tace from other car and use and its same fault,

so maybe u can help for some solutions ,

First you need new injector(injector Needle lift Sensor) and 00550 Start of Injection Regulation will be out .
check Measuring Block group 006 for the break pedal switch
it have two contact one NO and one NC check if the two work

if i look in abs in 002 its stand all 0 open 0 0 but then i pres brake pedal its open open 0 0

i fink its stuck
, today i will look more in 006 .and write later .

After change needle sensor and adjusting time engine is working only left 00741 fault code

we test solenoid is ok its only not coming 12 v to shift lock solenoid , and if we look in engine block chanel 006 its stands 11 and not change if we push brake pedal, in abs block chanel 002 its ( open 0 0 0) if push brake pedal its ( open open 0 0)
