Left part of the main display is very dark. Right side is also on a darker side, but definitely better than the left. Can this be fixed? Also someone did try to fix the board and ugly solder blobs are everywhere :/

RE: 03-07 Silverado Tahoe Avalanche Hummer H2 etc programming, upgrade, problems
Ok, one more interesting case, if any did come across the same thing.
I have a cluster from 03-04 truck. Wanted to reflash it to the proper calibrations for specific VIN number (also from 03-04 truck) through Tis2Web. On the calibration confirmation screen it shows, that this cluster is from 05MY (which I know it is not). I did try different VIN numbers - result the same. I also did try to write the EEPROM from another 03-04 cluster - same thing. What I know for sure is, that if I would blindly proceed with the reflash - the cluster will be bricked because it would try to store the calibration from 05 truck. The only workaround I found is to get same cluster and connect it to Tis2Web and go through all the prompts and before the last step of reflashing to switch it with the other one I did try to reflash in the first place. Then proper calibrations will be stored. But if then again I need to reflash this cluster - TIS2Web still thinks it is 05MY cluster. |

One more time did happen today with another cluster. What I noticed, that both of those were previously remanufactured by Delphi. Found their stickers in the back. Possibly they got some kind of different firmware.
