Either remove the whole thing or there's no real point in having the OBD port at all. Pins 3,11,12,&13 are for Ethernet used by ICOMs and ENET cables meaning programming and dealer diagnostics are impossible. Same with power pin 16 and ground pins 4+5. Generic scanners and K+DCAN cables for data logging and diagnostics (JB4 included) use pins 6+14 the can lines. Pin 9 is the engine true tach signal often tapped for dyno testing or PI integration. K and L lines are also used by generic scanners and K+ DCAN cables, pin 8 is used to indicate to the vehicle to use the Ethernet interface instead of the traditional CAN-BUS connection.
Pin 1 is also used for power output in certain situations. Pins 2+10 are deprecated.

I just ordered port wire extender to change the obd port place. Sometimes I am using obd for diagnostic or coding car so I need that.
