Xprog vs. r260 vs. r270
Hello there.

I'm confused right now, kind of...
Until today I used a Digiprog 3. since I am here I'm often reading about xprog, r260 and r270. Whats the deal about these tools?

I tried so search and read about these tools but this confused me. Can someone explain me short and effective the difference and pros/cons about these tools? Maybe this could be a good sticky for new users.

My goal: correct milage in BMW from 2000 until at least 2010.

Thanks Alex.
So xprog do the same like 260 and 270.
How is the business? Are there original brands and clones like the digiprog?

So yesterday I ve had my first experience with r270. Reading EE chips works for 90%.
But writing is shit. It took me 30 attempts to write a blank 080D0WQ chip.

Which tool could you recommend to write eeprom
Chips with better succes rate? From cheap to expensive...
