Read the manual again. You can't start the launcher with just the three files in that directory..

Not true, Win7 32 bits works just as fine as you can see in the manual.

Read the txt file. You only did like the first steps. You need to move and edit more files and create symbolic links.

Great! I've download the ODIS-S 4.0 for a long time, and finally the launcher is coming. Thanks a lot!

I have same problem. I know that postsetup data are in on package, but ODIS launcher show that there is no postsetup updates (even after date change). Can it be copied by hand or what setting needs to be modifed that it will be able to installed on same folder all brand postsetup data ?

I end up removing everything, including pieces of ODIS in %programdata% and started again.
You can install ODIS 4.0 like this (some steps may be unnecessary, but hey, it works):

Hi, i have a problem with postsetup, i installed first audi, works OK!. but when i try to open VW, i get a lot of DB error (never ask about postsetup install again) , when i try to get details of DB on Information Menu, i have nothing.

Anyone has the same error ?.

(after many trial and errors that is...odis seems veeery picky about any other Java installations present...as soon as i uninstalled my previous Java odis started without issues)

Why in ODIS4 I do not have a choice of vehicles in the MENU old cars such as octavia 1, fabia 1 etc ..
Does not recognize the vehicle according to the VIN
