Copy the ICOM_Restore.bin to a clean flash drive, insert it into the icom, press and hold the reset button on the icom, turn on the power, all the LEDs will turn red, then release the button and press it 3 times. All the LEDs start flashing red wait about a minute and restart icom
If the recoil was not successful and the icom work does not observe standard symptoms, then it will be necessary to change the flash very often when the update falls nand flash K9F2G08U0BPCB0 an obvious sign of falling nand flush is a small amount of free space 1 ICOM-BootImage is flooded with ICOM-ApplicationImage is not present, at boot time icom the LED flashes red 2 at boot time icom flashes green LED and it is not loaded 3 on the first seconds of the download icom the LED flashes red but then lights up green and icom is loaded 4 at the very beginning all LEDs Flashes red and goes out 5 icom is loaded but the program constantly changes its status

No led lights up... only when i connect to 12v all leds for 1 second red.. or half second

I got a similar problem with an old A1. I replaced the part with the OBD plug from another ICOM just for the fun of it, and the ICOM started working again.
I had no success with restoring the software. Hit Thanks and Reputation button if this post helped you.

Could be a fatigued or broken flex cable. Perhaps the cable is making just a hint of a connection, enough to momentarily flash the lights, but not enough to run. I got my $25 icom with a broken flex cable.
