Hi, I tried to remove an AM29F200 chip from a Sirius32 ECU but the tracks have lifted.
The chip and pcb are covered in some sort of lacquer.
Is there an easy way to remove these chips?

I'm using a Hot Air Station but the tracks still lifted, what Temp do you recommend for this chip? I used 400 deg.

Dont worry 400ok
put down cuttex
you apply hot whit cuttex
down flash pul up
later read write 4000 to 7999 0 8000 incluid in ff this is same

cut pin 58 car start
same for all sirius whit ac whitout ac

its easy

Just use some paint stripper on the 29f200 clean it off and rinse with ipa

desolder wick most of the old solder and they come off easy HTH
