RE: Good or Bad Vas5054A
No it was sent like that. Tape does not touch the pins. Will test them when I get the flux for soldering with hot air station
At the back it has 3 circles, the dimple, one that is variable (each chip has a different 2 digit, letter + no), 17. Any ideas? |

Can't comment because its hard to say.Problem is they are so good in copying that its not easy to tell the difference.I lost faith from Alibaba sellers after receiving 100% genuine looking but fake au5780 and TJAT 1054 chips. So its a gamble. That's why i chose to get memory from a reputed company as Enabled suggested.Even though its ISSI and not Samsung but at least its genuine. |

RE: Good or Bad Vas5054A
If the ram is fake what could be the issues associated with this?
Do you recommend to change ram in any case? if so, where we can buy a genuine ram? Thank you so much |

Good or Bad Vas5054A
Haven't used my VAS yet but needed to try dieselgate fix experiment. Upon disassembling, here are my PCB photos. Need to resolder BT module again (pulled without looking). Can see Oki chip, AMB2300, Samsung chips etc. Can't differentiate what's good and fake.
Software on CD is ODID 4.1.3 Sent from my Lenovo P2a42 using Tapatalk |

RE: Good or Bad Vas5054A
Fake AMB2300 bluetooth, fake OKI (OKI is not needed at all, so ignore), and all the other usual minor stuff.

I wouldn't mind if i bought from fast east. The anger is seller said it was High quality from EU for 130 euro. Where did you managed to get U10 memory? and any links for bluetooth unit etc needed to transform this crap Update: Seller will replace the unit with another high quality as promised. Let's wait |
