Advise on flashing CCC
Hello guys i just bought icom and never flashed most module before so i got some questions..
Firstly i would prefer to use winkpf and i found on internet that sequence is: -CC3F60 <-- Audio -CC4760 <-- tune -CC6260 <-- Most/gateway -CC6360 <-- Host -CCA060 <--Application It is correct? If yes does it matters if ccc from fl or non fl model? I got istap 3.60 if i use it can ii choose only to update CCC? The last one if i gonna choose winkpf method using easyconnect which connection type i need to choose, i heard that most_master it is correct? |

Yes correct order. flash with most_async_ab625 but on 62 with base. not most
yes ista p with expert mode can update only ccc facelift and non facelift doesnt matter |

Use Easyconnect to make the changes to what mode you flash with. When you are going to flash the 62 adress, lock the icom in "base". Not most_async

Yes i understand about changing modes with easyconnect, adress 62 is -CC6260 most gateway you mean

Yes you are correct, that is what i mean.
edit: remember to restart winfkp after changing modes, i have instances where it would still flash in most mode if not restart winkfp. just to be safe |

Yes. That's correct for most only modules. But the gateway part of ccc should be flashed with base via can.

My advice: Don't flash a CCC, unless the job is really unavoidable. Saves tons of headache.
