Your problem i think, i´m not an advanced user, think it was coment here, over the page 11 or so (LINK), i think you have the same issue like me when I patch my cic (my car is a 06 e91), that the fstool can not upload or download the 1b and other, i did not remember which one, is a problem with the ediabas, look for the tips given by sebastianfernandes to fix it.

At least, as far as I know, to connect with Fstool/gini to the cic on a e series car, without the telnet methot is with the kdcan or icom. But, if you can connect to the cic via FTP, you can upload the FSC´s and then check them with fstool or gini.

Ok, at this point Check FSC is working with my original FSC's.
I created the new FSC's with FStool (load template files, modified VIN, Sign with the new certs and save) => do i need to change the date ?

After patching the CIC where to upload the new FSC's on the HDD ? for me they are stored in "generalPersistencyData_DiagnosticSWTController" ? Do i need to create a new file which contains the new FSC's ? and how ? (or simply copy/paste into the file with a Hex editor ?)
