RE: Unable to program used EPS
The cable connections were okay as far as i can tell because the connectors are unique. As for fuse F43 will have to look that up. Could it by any chance be a software issue

RE: Unable to program used EPS
I mean that pinout of that small signal cable piece is different between 2011 and 2017 so if you replaced it, it would explain why its not working. I don't know if it could be software issue, doubt it. ETK gives different EPS part number for cars up to july 2016 and after that, so there could be incompatible changes in hardware, but I do not see change in ZGM at the same time, so I really don't know. If not cable and not fuse, you will have to take multimeter and check if power and bus signals arrive at EPS. Do you know part number of the new EPS you've put in?

RE: Unable to program used EPS
While waiting for my Esys token activation, i decided to try ISTA/P. It was able to see the EPS but will only install it with enabling code for the servotronic. Is it possible to recover this code since the car came with servotronic pre-installed?

Just confirmed what you said as i tried it with ISTA/P, though the ISTA/P was able to identify the EPS but will not program it. Don't know what to do at this point. |

RE: Unable to program used EPS
I'm not sure if i'm going to repeat this but this is what I would do
Check that Vin match everywhere Check that there is correct VO coding around the board in all reflecting module's Compare part from before and new one Compare wiring diagram for both parts old and new Check wiring by cutting wire isolation away from the plug to see that there is no wire brakes and that plug are able to transfer correct voltage and amperage as well as signal Exchange for other used/new part and/or module If any of my posts or current one helps then don't forget to press thanks and add a reputation

Just like you advised, i had the intention of connecting the old ECU to see if i will be able to do anything before cutting the signal wire. Thanks |
