This is wrong FSC, you is 0004000B.fsc, but need 00040014.fsc

Read in meta.info:

Yes, sorry, I forgot insert new FSC in folder. This one is OK.

Hi Audia4
Just used your activation without problems. Clever work, removing the check from metainfo2 file.

This is the guide I used:

Start the car and:
1. Remove any DVD or SD card(s) from the unit
2. Copy folder FSC and metainfo2.txt to SD card
3. Insert SD card into slot 1
4. Press RADIO, then for 5 seconds hold SETUP + RETURN to get into secret menu
5. Choose UPDATE (bottom right corner) and choose SD1 as the source
6. Follow the instructions on screen, confirming update..
7. When the system asks you if you want "standard" or "user defined" chose STANDARD!
8. Move all the way down to the bottom of the device selection menu list with various attributes and select "Start download"
9. FSC update starts and the system will reboots 2 times during the update. Do not interrupt the update or turn off the car!!
10. When the update is finished "Device summary screen" appears, move down and select "Continue" than "Abort documentation"
11. Remove SD card, activation is finished at this point.
12. Insert DVD or SD card with a map update and enjoy.

FSC update procedure takes about 2-3 min.

You updated map after MAP activator?
Which firmware you used? It works also with 258 firmware?

Hello to everybody thanks for your great job.. I have a question about the new activator.. readind lemme procedure is a little different from mine.. last years my procedure is:

1- update firmware
2- install the new map
3- activate it as you have described

my question is.. if I understand you first activate the map and then install map, for 2017 map i follow lemme procedure or mine or is it indifferent?

My car already had K0260 firmware. I do not know if the FSC update will work with K0258.

I think it is important for people to know that we are talking of two different activation methods here. The activator from Congo11 are different from the FSC update from audia4/TeraBass. I have been using the FSC update from audia4/TeraBass. You have to choose between the two, you should not use both at the same time.

Just to be clear - atomantmk's tutorial are for Congo11's activator, my tutorial are for the FSC update by audia4/TeraBass.
