Hi guys, info, did anyone try to use dvd1 on SD card?
I did try and after a while that "search update SD 1" comes out that no update file was found .... that you know the file is corrupted? How can i do it?

My question:
What type DVD to use to wtrite data on?
My 2016 EU-West version I burned succesfully on a DVD+R 4.7GB
But with this 2017 DVD1 version Nero says I need more space

Same probleme here with DVD2.
I have Verbatim, but Maps are 6GB.
Is something I can remove, like languages or similar?

Hi, the DVD1 loaded on the SD card does not work, the unit responds "can not find update" ...
The DVD2 loaded on SD card works all OK ....
Can I download the DVD1? Perhaps the present can be corrupted

Hi guys i tried downloading multiple DVD1 files insert them into the SD card and they do not work look at the screen below the device;

I know but i've got an 32GB SD card en don't wanne switch during navigating.

Also when i like to navigate to Italy i have to enter SD East Europe but my trip starts in The Netherlands so i have to put SD West Europe in again....

Solution is so simple, one map put on the SD card, second on DVD

That solution is slow! SD card is much faster.
I just like to add both DVD's to 1 SD card (32GB SHSD U3)

Sorry, but that is not possible.
Here is the official statement from AUDI:

It is not possible to copy both DVDs on a SD card and use it to navigate, as the control unit 5F does not support this function.

A parallel operation of a DVD and an SD card is not possible.

The customer must insert either the DVD East or the DVD West. It works the same way with SD cards. Every DVD has to be copied on a separate SD card and only one SD card can be used.

have you done the fw update to version k0260 before try the map? if there is an older fw version the mmi don't recognize the map!

have you done the fw update to version k0260 before try the map? if there is an older fw version the mmi don't recognize the map!

You updated to K260 basic firmware installed 2017 EST map update, then unlock map finally WEST map but update failed with the result I described in other posts.
So I guess the corrupted WEST map file might be ...
All I tried to download came from Megaupload and HERE.
