i need help for mercedes w210 keys
i have mb nec full /simon touch?
i have a w210 eis with no keys mcu 1d69j
i have read mcu with orange 5 to get dump and password
when i run through simon to make keys i load eis dump in skc it then gives me all keys.
i erase nec chip to virgin and write file to key in 021 format
the key is then prgrammed 04fc and then saying activate key.
i have tried everything to activate the thing with no sucsess
would anybody know where im going wrong as this is now doing my sweed in lol
also say i write number 1 key when i program numer 1 it comes out as 2 for some reason.
if i put key in eis the led stays on permanent.
i would be gratefull of any help as im just trying to get my head round this tool
all is set up on bench with esl connected / esl virginised
my eis file and skc file are here

Hi

Are u trying to add black key with NEC or Motorola mcu ?
If Motorola then post ur hc05 ref not the mask 28F
U have to give all the ref Zc.....
After I'll tell u

For NEC key always use .051 format, not .021

i have made keys in 021 and 051
in hex editor i have changed 04fc to 14ec on both keys
i shall try today and report back my result

I still have no joy
i have redone 3 keys in 051 format
i is 14 ec 2 are 04fc and i cannot activate them
the 14ec goes in eis no led so should be working but still wont unlock
i have copied skc to esl as it was in virgin state but still wont unlock
i have 2 esl the same so swapped housing over incase motor shot still no joy
are these w210 a pain to do all keys lost
any help please

Once you read the hc05 and the dump is recognized by SKC you should not have any problems. Read my thread about the W210 eis and try to diagnose your problem. If the esl is not virginized properly the key may not activate-the light stays on all the time.

I VIRGINIZED ESL BOTH MCU OFF ESL BOARD AND READ AFTER TO CHECK STILL NO JOY
I THEN TOOK THEM OFF BOARD AGAIN AND SENT SKC DUMP TO THEM READ THEM AGAIN AND SOLDERD BACK TO THE BOARD STILL NO JOY
IN SIMON TOUCH SKC I LOAD EIS DUMP IT SHOWS PASSWORD AND KEYS ALL KEY DUMPS FINE
ONLY 3 KEYS USED 0.1.2 I CREATE KEYS 3.4. IN 051 FORMAT ON NEC VIGIN CHIP.
AFTER IVE WROTE KEYS THEY ARE 04FC AND I CANT ACTIVATE THEM FOR SOME REASON NOT THROUGH MCU OR IR
IS THERE A WAY TO ACTIVATE THESE KEYS I HAVE SEARCHED MY MANUALS BUT THEY ARE VAUGE TO SAY THE LEAST
IVE TRIED 3 DIFFERENT W210 EIS ALL SAME SCENARIO
IF ANYBODY CAN TELL ME HOW TO ACTIVATE KEYS I WOULD BE VERY HAPPY

THE MAIN PROBLEM IM HAVING IS WHEN KEYS ARE MADE TO AN UNUSED SLOT THEY ARE 04FC / HOW THE HELL DO I ACTIVATE THEM MY MANUAL TELLS ME JACK ---- TO BE FAIR

My keys always activate after putting in the EIS. Sometimes the key has to be insert 5 times and it then activate. Most probably your steering lock doesnt let them activate, this has happened to me. A virginized steering lock will work activated keys, but if I put a new key in the EIS it will not activate. I virgize my steering locks with FVDI.
