Does anybody know what IC is a driver chip for the pointer motors on those boards?
I'm looking at 2002 board (HW19), but will assume, that driver chip will be the same on a different HW revision as well.
One of the motors doesn't work properly and I need to trace if it gets the voltage from the driver chip. Since the board is a sandwich - cannot see where the traces are going to.
P.S. motor itself is fine, I checked it. There is something on the board. Board looks clean, no visible signs of abuse, however somebody did replace the display in the past.

Hey, did you find the solution? I repair these devices and may be able to help.
What's the problem? What do you mean by "not working properly" and how did you test this motor?

Yes, I found the solution. Motor driver chip was bad. I replaced it and the motor did get back to life.
