XZBMW  BMW E87 used DSC flashing/coding
I have a problem with the DSC ecu of an 2004 BMW E87.
I bought an used 2005 E90 DSC ecu and tried to program it to the car.
ISTA P is asking for replacement.
Is there a way to reprogram the ecu or I have to find one with exactly the same part number?
Thanks!

did you exchanged vin number before using ISTA-P
if not then change to either 0000000 or your vin number and then to coding/programing

I flashed it with winkfp, so the VIN is in it, but NCSEXPERT refuses to code it and ISTA P wants it replaced.
Is there any method to force flash another ZUSB number?
Current number is 6778164 and I need 6769845.
Is it safe to do so?

Yes, WinKFP expert mode can be used to flash arbitrary ZB numbers.

Most likely ZB number 6769845 will not work.

Yes, WinKFP expert mode can be used to flash arbitrary ZB numbers.

Most likely ZB number 6769845 will not work.

So, my only solution is to find a DSC with the same ZB number as the broken DSC.
