Lets try to prepare guide as I understood from this treat (thanks to Walawa75):

1. update your FW to 676 or 770
2. download original map 2014
3. activate using Carson fix https://rapidshare.com/share/2FB57A37E92...066335AD39

Yes you must make changes in original with metafile and vw folder. Step 1 in post 31 is important for the patch! Use the patch folder from post 77 from walawa75, this is the one with the right FSC file for activating maps 2014!

Edit: it's not neccessary to modify the metafile according walawa75!

Don't stress ! This way is the best I know and I have it in my car ! No metafile to touch !!
You only have to update your FW then your map (no metafile to modify) and just use the Carson activation without modify anything ! And all works of course. If problem(you won't have) you can downgrade the map and return to previous situation. But I am sure that all will work like a charm !

2. upgrade maps using original audi files without any modifications

Believe Walawa75 i must activate the map though, i have done the modification. I hope it works, if not i will try without modify

I saw run.sh of Carson solution right now - its done there by script so right no need to make changes before.

so walawa75 solution is easy like........

BTW I have other problem - before I can run any script without any problems just put sdcard into slot that all - right now I need to insert card many Times and just once per 20-50 Times script are able to run.

whats wrong? any tips? without it I am not able to copy files and activate map

no I havent AMI - so I need to use SDcard only

did u have same problem? or all the time after put sdcard scripts starting?

No i have not the same problem, i am able to run it the first time. I think your head unit is broken?

all features works fine no problems at all - before was easier to run script - it started to works after 1-3 atempts right now a problem

I dont think so. all other features works fine......

before scripts started after 1-3 attempts right now is really hard to run script - I tried diffrrent SD cards also

Strange, when it stops? You can start the update in the engineering menu? And is your sd card class 10?
