Well, after updates I got only "SVM" and "Invalid data set". I solved them just as I said. I did not have that other two errors (audio wire and data set implausable). Maby on your version of MMI that metod doesen't work :/

Not engine running, because voltage can jump. You should rectifier plugged to car.
Second thing is that, when engineering menu is started it won't turn off until finish or unplug battery or low voltage. You can even (but shouldn't) drive a car while doing it.

Can I directly update the firmware to version 770? (photo attached)

Are these files enough?

Yes but you better do the update between 518 and 770. Do update 614 first, After that perform update to 770 and update maps.
