How to setup router and Icom for Programming KOMBI and NBT.

- What should be the Lan-settings for Icom A2 and Next.

- What should be the Windows Ethetnet port-settings.

- What should be the router settings.

I didn't need to change any settings for mine to work, left everything default. I have the computer left on the default 'automatic dhcp' so that the router will assign an IP. Plug in the router and let it fully boot, then plug the ICOM ethernet into the router before plugging in the OBD. The router will assign IP addresses within the same range to both computer and ICOM, and the ICOM can be located and used just like a direct ethernet connection. I disabled the router firewall to make sure it wouldn't be a problem.

AIPA or DHCP?

AIPA or DHCP?

Mine was working fine set to APIPA, though I believe DHCP is the correct setting.
