Hello,
i tried to change the language of my nav with ista-p and icom. in the begin all start good. the software and icom module works correct. only when i start to program after 2 min i get a warning that the voltage of my car was not good, and the software stops the session. After this, olmost noting works anymore in my car. Only the radio and som lights works. when i tried to readout again, the software can't find my vin nummber . i can put it manualy but then it stops with the fault that i have to put some config of this model manualy. this config coms strait from bmw. I disconnect the battery but no result. Is there someone that can help me with my problem. Many greetz, sorry for my bad english. |

Get a good power supply first.
Did you print out the measures plan from ISTA/P in previous session? |

RE: BMW E91 update go bad
This happens when you ignore the programming guide hints in ista/p.
the power supply must not be disconnected, otherwise programming will stop and let ECUs in an undefined state. Disconnect battery for at least 15 minutes and hope the best... Hit Thanks and Reputation button if this post helped you.

Might be time to learn to use winkfp as it may be your last resort. It's always better to use Icom and if you have MOST system then you'll need MOST Connector as well, also known as Icom B |
