I got E36 with E39 M52B28 engine, i read it with KESS, ita has modified software (in attachment), can anyone share ori software for that engine? MS41.

Why don't you use factory WinKFP files to flash to factory stock? You risk putting wrong software versions (mismatched) on when you use KESS to write partial 24kb flash. This will brick your DME.

You need to flash it with E36 software because it is more appropriate for the chassis. The differences in exhaust shape, etc. make it better to use e36.

I can help, but will have to find out your current version and dig out a correct software version.

You have to bridge pins 14&18 of 20-pin port (adds programming voltage), but in your winkfp settings UN-check "programming voltage" setting.

Use Icom not d-can cable. I had same problem with d-can, after that never used it, only icom.

I am using original ICOM Next, other cars go without problems.
