Hello,

I need to do a full bdm read on this ecu. (or at least read/write the flash).
Does someone know where to find the bdm port or point me the right direction?
Any info is welcome....
(i allready know the position of the 95160 eeprom)

- When i read this ecu in boot-mode with GallettoV54 (with 2x560 ohm in place) i get a BOOT MODE INACTIVE error...

- The strange thing is that when reading OBD (with no resistors), i am able to extract a 589kb file.... (it does not write the modified 589kb file though...so i suspect the read is no good).
nb : it does however writes back (obd) the ori-589kb file!)

Can someone tell me where i am going wrong?

Not very clear photos, anyway first point! as rubber around the leg of Micro was not removed clearly can you be sure that connection is exactly to boot pin. Remove more clear and check that the connection is on the fifth leg from the rim leg.

I actually left the silicone on purpose (to reduce the chance of a short-circuit).
but you r right maybe the connection is no good..
i did the soldering exactly as pointed out in member carman's schematic...

did tried that also (only difference is the orange wire...)
i get either "bootmode inactive" (with k-line) or "key seed error" (CAN). i can only id the ecu...
it should be pretty straightforward but somehow i am not able to get the job done!

Agreed, 'boot mode inactive' is pretty straight forward description. Anyway after my post above, can't see any proof or improvement in visual. Now not sure how to pass any other suggestion but the two resistor functions are one is for boot another is watch dog killer, no need any other !
