Playing with 05 Cadillac SRX ECM. "No VIN stored" during diagnostic. Is it normal?
ECM p/n 12588472, however I don't think it mAkes any difference.
I did program it to the different calibrations through TIS2000 SPS using different vehicles VIN codes, but during the TECH2 diagnostic it only shows calibrations but no VIN number. Is it normal? In order to program the VIN number should I open the sealed cover and look for the eeprom? If yes - what is the best way to open it and what eeprom type is inside?
