Aside from the airbags hat else do I need to change? Sensor, ECU...etc? Where is the airbag ecu located in order to remove it an read its eeprom? Thanks in advance |

Do I also need to replace the lateral sensor the initiated the airbag deployment? Thanks again |

RE: MITO Airbag ecu location
Hi
As the frontal cushions have opened you have to remove the AB driver located under the heater very close to the bulkhead wall, remove the two plastics at the beginning of the middle tunnel and you will see him. RE: MITO Airbag ecu location
According to car's VIN it should be 50518368 but I will make sure.
I also bought the multiecuscan interface. As soon as it arrives I will try to erase all errors an see how it goes. I will get back to you. |

RE: MITO Airbag ecu location
The elm interface arrived this morning and I just performed a diagnosis. There were same airbag related errors (you will see details in the following pictures) which I erased. Only 1 error persists...
I also include a screenshot from multiecuscan's airbag parameters. The driver's pretensioner seems to have a fault but if you look at the it does not seem to be exploded and retracted...(looks exactly as the co-driver's side) Any help as to how I should proceed is more then welcome |
