BMW CIC - No voice input after HDD Clone
Hi All
I have Cloned a HDD from another CIC as the HDD was crashed on my CIC. Everyting seems fine except. I cannot activate voice input? Doner car was a e87 and destination car is a E91 I have tested the MFL button with ista-d and it's working, the coding is untouched and the FSC is all activated..... Any good comments on this is appreaciated. Thanks Don't forget to press

Reflash the cic, and upgrade map

Recode whole car make sure you have ccc repair kit for current vin of cic, hdd clone may be problem showing as doner vin may need repair kit for that vin unsure good luck

You might need to reflash A0 with the same FW as you had before. Did you check the status of FSCs, they are active, your Voice settings are enabled in CIC or greyed out ?

I had the same problem - it does not help to reflash the cic, I tried that. It seems that there are differencies between E89/E6X cic's. I never figured out what to do, so took the HDD from another broken E89 CIC and then it worked

Hdd is always the same E F serie do not matter.
If ytou not able to flash unit without error something else is wrong. E60 have different BO software. |
