Hi

I deleted ISTA/P 3.61.5.000 from control panel,but several icons of ISTA/P from 3.61.0.500 to 3.61.5.000,I don't know I selected which one for be uninstalled.I checked in these place,all files were gone automatically or by manually later.

1.In the registery,all of ISTA/P
2.all logs,temp of ISTA/P
3.Enable the built-in Administrator account for reinstall from 3.61.0.500
4.right click BMW_ISPI_ISTA-P_SYS_3.61.0.500,run as administrator

but yet could not reinstall ISTA/P 3.61.0.500,every times it was stalled in the process "Prepare system" and "Preparing install data".last month,I reinstalled it from 3.61.0.500 to .5.000,all was ok.now I don't know why?who have good solution for fix it except of OS reinstallation?thnx in advance.

OS is Win7 64bit ultramate english

I have always error 25000, missing Basic Version and ISTA can't bre installed.

Maybe try:

1 - Remove the keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BMWGroup\ISPI
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BMWGroup\ISPI

2 - Remove the folder:
C:\ProgramData\BMW\

3 - Use CCleaner.

Probably the checksums do not match the meta query. Open istap DAT 3.61.5.00 with winrar. Password qk8vREu44SBrhfRTSCB6

ISTAP 3.61.5 has only update for BMW-RR.


Remedies if no solution is found, unzip and paste manually

So could you check if your suggestion is valid,because of:

1-keys under only kept "ISTA" and "Rheingold",they are for ISTA,so can't be deleted to ensure ISTA properly run.

2-Folder C:\ProgramData\BMW\.....,in it had several config,logs for ISTA,so can't be deleted,for ISTA/P already deleted by hand.

3-What purpose is for using CCleaner?maybe it is valid for try.thnx

Note:After removed all of ISTA/P from CCleaner,same error happened yet.
And check in the log again,found:

1.some "State: Absent or none".

That's mean its OK. Installer looking for those services if they running. You cannot install ISTA-P when is running. In log must be something else with WARN
