0Engine  Anyone using a Diagbox V7?
I have seen them for sale at less than $40 and I'm looking to use one to program some Peugeot keys.

If you are using this hardware do you have the supplied software running on Win 8 / 10 64 bit as the retailers suggest it will only run at 32 bit on Win 7?

Hello I use diagbox 7.49 on win 7 32bit without problems.
I have not tried key-learning.
So a plug for 40 will not work so long. (With me about 2 years) have now a second for 100 and "full chip"

Thanks for your feedback @slawcio26

Have you never tried the Diagbox on 64 bit machines running Win 8 / 10?

RE: Anyone using a Diagbox V7?
Do you have to use the Windows 8 system only? A lot of software runs perfectly on Windows 7, and a lot of them are starting to support Windows 10.

I only have Win8 and Win10 machines but the vendors strongly suggest Win7 only, or specifically 32 bit rather than 64 bit.

I don't want to get bogged down with virtual machines either.

Thanks Merseycruise at least confirmation it works with 64 bit is a step forward. I'm not really aware of any fundamental differences between Windows 7 and 8 so it sounds like it should be OK.

RE: Anyone using a Diagbox V7?
For me diagbox 7 worked only on 32bits os ( win 7 only) not xp.
On 64bits i am not sure the PP2000 application will start ( its inside diagbox for old cars under 2009)

My car is a 2004 model so it's important PP2000, or equivelant, works.

Anyone got ideas for cheap hardware for DIY enthusiast to code Peugeot 307 (2004) keys? I have seen the "yellow dongles" (you know what I mean) and similar WiFi modules for half the price but still unsure on the software for Win 8 / 10.

Have you used the PP2000 element of Diagbox 7.83 on your Win 7 64 bit machine i.e. key reprogramming for older Peugeot's (mine is a 307 convertible from 2004)?
