Running on quad core i7 with 16gb ram, 525GB SSD, win10 x64. I'm running it as admistrator and UAC is at lowest setting

Try update the firmware of Yours SSD, maybe this helps.

Hi everyone
I'm from Thailand. Please advise me about ISTD + ISTP.
First: I had INPA, NCS EXpert, Ediabase thus this one install from BMW standard tool, It can connect with BMW. Then I install Rheingold 4.06.22 everything is ok for installation (I'm not install ista-p) just ISTAD . After that i setting communicate method of ISTA by EDIABAS.INI. Then I try to communicate with my car. Don't have response.
Question:1. This program should install ISTP also for complete method?
2. I check path of C:\Rheingold\Ediabas\BIN\EDIABAS.ini >> Interface= REMOTE Should I change something or not ? I use K-Dcan cable
3. I install EDIABASE for BMW standardtool. Is it OK?

With K+Dcan:

C:\Rheingold\Ediabas\BIN\EDIABAS.ini >> Interface= STD:OBD

And OBD.ini

Port=Com9
Hardware=USB
RETRY=ON

And check USB serial port if it's on Com9.

Now I can install this program but I still can not connect with BMW by use READ OUT VEHICLE DATA. ERROR is occur. Please advise. I try to use VIN code for reach BMW. Then I try to test fault code from each ECU but some ECU the program can not read. Have every one found this problem?

Can you post picture from your K+Dcan cable and Ista-d interface-settings.

I'm pretty sure you don't have the pins 7 & 8 bridged. For E39 you need to bridge the pins 7 & 8. If you don't you only get access to DME and EGS which you got. Does your cable have a switch? If you doesn't just solder the pins 7 & 8 together or get a switch and solder it to pins 7 & 8. You want the pins 7 & 8 together for cars like E39,e38,E46 etc. but not newer cars like E60, E9x etc.
