Today i want flash a VTG on a E83, but in ISTA-P ICOM Status is yellow.
I install again patched ediabas, but does not change the problem.
When i unplug OBD when ISTA-P is running and pug again ICOM, ISTA-P does not find it anymore.
Install the last loader from beemerboy88 but does also not work.
On this Laptop are Rheingold ISTA-P, Standart Tools and Dr.Gini. but on myl old Dell also

So i have tried my old Dell with Version 3.58 and loader 4.8 and it works as it should.

So i should reinstall it and install it new. Can i find on forum the right procedure ?

Before you reinstall or any other try to deinstall Dr.Gini and test Ista-p again. ( It's a try )

For install newer version and hope it fix my problem is it enough to install the newer ISTA-P over my installation or should i deinstall older one ?

Did you ever resolve this problem? I have ista+ working perfectly but istaP will not connect to F10 chassis. Am stumped at this stage, still trouble shooting.

Resolved my problem, not sure how but here is what I did.

1. Uninstalled EDIABAS, deleted folder, rebooted. Uninstalled USB adipter nitially used to attempt KDCAN conbection
2. Firewall off, antivirus off, wifi off
3. Started ISTAP loader, installed new EDIABAS from Loader menu. Started I COM emulator, IP search successful.
4. Tried Esys, success, ISTA+, success.
5. Connected ICOM and started istaP, bingo!
