XZBMW  BMW F01 750ix ECU gone rogue
Hi All,

The car is a 2010 BMW 750ix, with an MSD85 ECU. I bought a new battery into it, which is an Exide 95Ah AGM type, and although I tried to register the battery, it resulted with D6121_00000000_01_301 diagcode and a note "Action failed on account of unfulfilled interdepencies".
What did I fucked big time? And if there is no "95AH AGM" option to choose at the registration, but only "105Ah AGM" and "90Ah", which one should I choose?

Since then there are rough gearshifts sometimes, but after restart it's gone. No oil level indication on the CIC, though with ICOM I can check the level.

The following codes appeared besides:
Code Description
1D3901 Electronic transmission control (EGS), signal evaluation (turbine speed): Invalid signal content
1D3B01 Electronic transmission control (EGS), signal evaluation (gear information): Invalid signal content
20A504 Turbocharger - coolant pump, actuation: Line disconnection
20A608 Turbocharger - coolant pump, actuation: Pump blocked
213601 Power management: closed-circuit current violation
400401 Ratio monitoring, clutch A, implausible
400625 Turbine speed sensor too low
401012 Collision, replacement measures of equal priority, priority class 2
800BDA Side view camera, left, not connected
800BDF Side view camera, left, not learned
801004 PTC rear left: overvoltage or undervoltage detected
801C20 ZGM: central fault memory full - no control-unit fault
802096 Supplementary coolant pump: short circuit to ground
8020E8 Reset or deactivation of terminal 30F
C90C81 Windscreen wipers: blocking
CAAC0A Interface DME / DDE (data, drivetrain 2, 0x3F9): signal invalid
CD9304 BSD data bus Communications fault
D0157A Signal (wheel torque powertrain 4, 40.3.4) invalid, transmitter DME / DDE
D3557A Signal (wheel torque, powertrain 4, 40.3.4) invalid, transmitter DME/DDE / EGS
D35940 Signal (predefined damper, share passive, 72.1.2) invalid, transmitter VDM/EDC
D76E10 DSC interface (gear selection, 230.0.2): Signal invalid
E21709 Signal (powertrain gear selection status, 0x3F9) invalid, transmitter DME / DDE
E5850F Message (data, drive train 2, 0x3F9) incorrect, receiver FRM, transmitter DME/DDE

Did anybody experienced these sympthomes?

Do I have to reprogram the ECU? If yes, how should I start to that? What to backup, where to get a complete ECU and other stuff for my car?

I have an OEM ICOM NEXT (fw updated), but not registered ISTA+ and ISTA/P. Can it cause any problems?

Thanks for your help in advance.

RE: BMW F01 750ix ECU gone rogue
Program the car with ista p which you can find here. Use the loader for making it work with your icom next. After that check if any faults are present.

When putting in battery is that size always choose closes under. For example. 98ah = 90
