Different variations of the same transmission. I'm going to try this on an F30 and F26 and see what happens.

How to load Alpina EGS SW to any 8HP70 transmission.

Add to VO:
931, 920, 9XA
Production date 1211 or higher
Typeschlussel XA71 for F10, 3E51 for F30

Factory ilevel 11-09-507 or higher
Calculate TAL
Force EGS update

Then in TAL-PROCESSING:
Uncheck all
Check just EGS procedures - BLFLASH, SWDEPLOY, CDDEPLOY

Update takes about 3 minutes.

After update just for sure code EGS to again and in ISTA-D / Rheingold delete transmission adaptation values.

Where did you get the info for the typeschlussel? I'm interested in trying this on an F15/F25 based car but don't know what to use for type, is there a Way to look up vehicle types or must it be read out from the actual vehicle of that type?

You can use XA71 (it was the base for D5) ,from the RWD 535d, it will work on yours too

Main thing for me was Sport+ in Automatic shifts up to 8 not only to 7,
Gear Display in every usable mode in automatic and manual.
Shifting was very hard in Sport+ automatic mode, now its fine.
