XZBMW  0x9CD3 - Software version and coding index
Hey! I just tried to program (with ISTA P 3.62 and ICOM) an FRM3 on an E84, when ista do all the work just get an X on FRM (no coded) and send this message 0x9CD3 Software version and coding index.
Just read the failures on ISTA D and say the same, but without a test plan...

i need some help with this!

Is the FRM accessible normaly trough OBD or are there any issues?

is it the original FRM for this car or a second hand?
did you try to code it with NCS?

I can read the failure on ISTA D, say the same (Software version and coding index) can delete this failure.

Yes, the FRM is a new one. I dont know how to use NCS sad

ISTA-P isn't the first choice to code second hand parts.

download the bmw standart tools and the daten files for your car.

New one should work fine with ista-p
what interface are you using

disconnect the battery for ca15min and try again
make sure to have a stable power supply

I use ICOM A2. Just do that reset... and doesnt work; i can start with a new computer but then goes down. One time a lose the JBE, i just change the JBE and can program the FRM3 again...

its weird...
