I have here a strange situation:
when I remove STC chip from pcb , interface is found and vcds is actief,looks good( see pics)
when I solder it back I get message " interface found, not pluged to car "
powered on bench , i dont have ecu to test.
what now ?? any idea ? ( used tl866 and project file for tl866 in folder + ept file )

Read a little mate. get out stc because at each power on that crap rewrites part of mcu. if u want to use this or any other sollution get it out, program your interface and use it. all interfaces need to have as genuine ones FA20 or FA24 depending on FTDI chip and not chinese invention FA30.

it was also my quenstion ... if you resolder it back( after flashing) then interface dioesnt work

you can find info about before flashing atmega you need to reomove stc chip , but no info about wat to do with STC after programming atmega..

update:
tool does work perfectly,
after flashing atmega with the files in de first post, you can also update your tool without external programmer,,,
I tested it,

Thanks to topic starter and special to you fantomel.. I learned a lot from you and reworked my al tools like galetto v54, carprog,ktag and now VCDS..

update:

I tested it, nextime just run VAGCOM_EEWrite exe. in the folder

Can be done but SW is not public. Don't ask me, I don't have it. And you don't need it, because it's paired with FTDI ChipID in the interface or emulated by the loader.
Better to use Kolimer's dump which also has all languages.

So finally flashed my china interface using USBasp. Removed STC chip 9 pin. Attached wires. Avrdude gave few warnings but everything went fine after all. So connected 12v to obd2 port and program says interface found and connected to car, but not tested on actual car yet. I used USB power method.
Couple notes from me:
Place avrdude.exe in same folder there flash cmd is.
Install USBasp driver using http://zadig.akeo.ie/ select libusb

My USBasp arrived, flashed the interface (Hardware Type HW 0x44 with BL ftdi) working good. Thank you everybody.
