Hello,
This is a genuine BMW ICOM NEXT.

I restored using USB and then updated to latest firmware.
However, I still get a 'smartfusion' error. What does this error mean?
   

This is device status showing firmware - I have cut out the serial number
   

This is the log file taken from the Configuration Manager

Should I send this back to dealer for replacement or is it ok? I won't be able to test comms with a car for a week as I'm on holidays.
Can anybody test theirs that is working to see if smartfusion error is there?

LEDs are red or green ? i had smartfusion error once i upped factory firmware to latest one and for some reason it didn't flashed succesfully (after reboot icom was available but all led were red). then i cleaned dirty flags, reflashed, and it's okay.
happened more than 5 times on different new units.

It boots slowly. Sometimes red LEDs. I'm waiting on dealer - I returned it for warranty to my dealer

Eventually the dealer sent me a new one. Worked perfectly out of the box.

I have the same error with smartfusion fail after selftest.
It is visible in Ista but with KL15 to 0.

hmmmm - i will try to re-flash it
