Hi,

I have a problem with 2008 E90 318i with N43 petrol engine. Had low performance, slow acceleration, misfires and constantly going into limp mode on full acceleration. Sparks plugs and ignition coils replaced. Seemed ok but problem came back. Various faults codes in ISTA/D. So replaced faulty fuel injector, exhaust camshaft sensor and vanos solenoids. All faults cleared. Misfires gone and no more engine management lights but still slow acceleration. Removed and cleaned throttle body. Reset all adaptations. No error codes in ISTA/D. Is low mileage car (45K).

Did you check exhaust back pressure?
had a couple of times a restricted cat due to faulty injectors.

No not checked that. Whats best way to do it and clear any blockages in the cat.
