Hello,
I Have A Dell 630 With Sd connect Ver 1.9.11
Just received A Mux .... maybe fake ones ....tested ok from someone else...with other cable....

Then I decided To Buy A cables set ( 5 pcs ) brand new from china.....

Green Led mux on....

Caesar test give d2download 104 error..
HHT win give 10762 error

Unfortunately.... the mux never connected with laptop.....

Already Set Com Port.... (Pict attached below)
Trying every baud Rate.... no result
Check All voltage supply Inside Mux and Rs232 - rs 485 cable box....
IC 7805 7812 . Tip 42 ... diodes. caps ..... all voltages was oke....
Include voltages at rs232 black box .....

How to Start :

1. Is this defective Mux ? How To Make sure about this ?
2. Is this defective Cables (even new) ?
3. Incompability between mux vs cables ?
4. Software incompability ?

Or should I buy A complete set instead of trying joining different mux cables laptop ?

First. Check your com port settings. its must be set COM2, if thats ok, run blacklist patch (find to forum), if thats not help, change das folder BIN to better (find to forum).

I'd think it's not touch das yet.... because on first caesar test .... it didn't pass..... even for reading some signal from rs232...

I'd using software for watching listening com port ..... screen shoot wil attached soon....

simply serial rs232 port can send signal but never have signal received....

it makes me confusing..... to determine hardware problem or software problem ?

C3 its very simply, its work or not. If you mux tested with another cables and its works, maybe you have Incompability cables, they are at least 3 models and not works all models c3 muxes. Or you can firs tested Computer with working mux and remove that chance.

Thanks for your advices....its not too easy to get / borrow another hw (laptop hdd mux cables) here....but i'll try.....better than just buy another new mux without any test....it could failed again and again....
